Apple has just started sending iWork for iCloud Beta invites out to the public. Over the past few weeks, it was only available to registered developers. Now anyone with an iCloud account can check it out.
This service makes it possible for someone who uses the iWork suite to save their work to iCloud and open it up on any computer, regardless of platform, so long as it has a working internet browser. However, it’s not really known how the Beta rollout is working. According to CultofMac, not all iCloud users have received an invite. Perhaps Apple is only sending it out to certain users, or those who have the iWork suite? For now, may as well log in and see if it’s working for you.
