The latest Apple TV beta adds a new feature for developers to test out. It’s iTunes music purchases.
This just means that users on Apple TV can purchase iTunes music directly from the set-top box. Also new is a quick set-up. The way it’s described to work is that a user turns on Bluetooth on their iOS 7 device, and it beams over to Apple TV, automatically configuring the box.
This is pretty cool for first-time users, but it’s too late for the rest of us. Still, it’s cool that a user can easily power up Apple TV and use their iOS device to autoconfigure it with everything from their Apple ID to their wifi network, etc.
