Code Hidden Within iOS 7 Beta 4 Reveal Possibility of Fingerprint Sensor

iOS 7 beta 4 fingerprint hint

Well, that’s interesting. According to a recent report, it seems that iOS 7 beta 4 may hint at a fingerprint sensor. This comes from Hamza Sood, who apparently has a knack for finding hidden features within builds of iOS.

This string shows something in the BiometrickKitUI.axbundle. It’s part of an iOS 7 tutorial, and it mentions a “photo of a person holding an iPhone with their right hand while touching the Home button with their thumb.” It also mentions a fingerprint that changes color while that’s happening.

It also says, “Recognition X% is complete.” Looks like it’s turning out to be real. However, we wonder what that handset will look like if it is in fact the iPhone 5S. Apple has a history of not really changing the ‘S’ models, but at least here is some convincing evidence that Apple may go for such a feature.
