Apple is said to be working on the fifth-gen iPad. You’re not surprised, are you? Good. It hopes to launch the tablet in September, according to reports. However, the iPad mini is still having manufacturing issues.
Digitimes, which is about as reliable as my uncle’s 1977 Ford Bronco, reports that the iPad mini is suffering manufacturing problems as Apple tries to get a Retina display in it. Supposedly, Apple is working to reduce the bezel further.
Again, this is Digitimes, so it’s not exactly known for being accurate.
Here is part of the original report:
Although suppliers have not yet received a firm mass production schedule from Apple and are mainly shipping products for pilot production, the sources pointed out that pilot production is already able to satisfy demand for the initial launch. Therefore, the sources expect Apple to give its shipment estimates at the end of July or early August.
Yeah. We don’t know about this one.
