Mac retailers are selling iMacs at a discount, according to reports. Furthermore, there are supply shortages for the computers right now. This is likely a sign that Apple is preparing a hardware update for the computers.
This makes sense as Apple introduced that last line of Macs around October of last year. It’s about time for an update for both Apple’s all-in-one desktop and and it’s popular pro-grade laptop. If the reports and speculation are accurate, we will see a Haswell update in Apple’s computers very soon.
The 2012 iMac is incredibly thin, and it looks very cool. However, it has no disc drive. That’s not much of a problem these days, but anyone with software that still installs via disc may have a problem with this.
