If you really want to get rid of that iPhone 4, now may be the time to do it.
According to reports, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, a.k.a. the analyst with the coolest last name on the planet (at least that’s what we call him) says that the iPhone 4 has risen in resale value by about 10.31 percent since April.
That’s actually very interesting considering that the handset is over three years old. Many more advanced phones, both iOS and Android, exist at this point.
Furthermore, the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S are seeing drops in value. Website TUAW reasons that this may be because supply is beginning to exceed demand as the owners who buy the newer handsets are preparing for the next iPhone (probably the iPhone 5S, if Apple calls it that) by selling off their older model before the announcement.
