This could be bad in the wrong hands, but it’s been discovered by some computer scientists who hope that Apple and Google patch up some security holes in their mobile operating systems.
The latest to come to light is a problem across both of the top mobile platforms. It allows for hackers to steal data from users through their login credentials.

Both OSes fail to ensure that browser cookies, document files, and other sensitive content from one Internet domain are off-limits to scripts controlled by a second address without explicit permission, according to a just-published academic paper from scientists at Microsoft Research and Indiana University.
Let’s hope these are fixed quickly.
