We dig the parallax effect in iOS 7. That is, the background screen that moves around as you tilt and turn your iPhone, creating a two-layer effect. Before we tried it we thought it’d be kind of annoying, but it’s actually subtle enough to not be a total annoyance.
Still, some folks aren’t fans. Luckily, it’s easy to fix that. Here’s how:
1) Go to settings.
2) Tap General.
3) Tap Accessibility.
4) Go to Reduce Motion.
5) Turn that on to “Reduce the motion of the user interface including the parallax effect of icons and alerts.”
That’s it. Now your background won’t move when you tilt the iOS device.
