iOS 7 gives you automatic app updates. This is actually quite convenient, but some folks my want to turn it off. There are three reasons for that: 1) it saves battery life to turn it off 2) You may be the type who likes to wait a few days to update apps to make sure things work correctly. 3) If you download an app on your iPhone, you may not necessarily want it on your iPad, or vice versa. Here’s how to change the option.
1) Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store.
2) Scroll down to Automatic Downloads.
3) There is a toggle here where you can turn off auto downloads for music, apps and books.
