You know that annoying restriction that the FAA has on flights. The one that makes you turn off electronic devices during takeoff and landing? It’s finally going away.
Soon, we will be able to keep most electronic devices on for the entire duration of the flight. The only real restrictions that seem apparent right now are that phones must be in airplane mode. We figure that means iPads and other such devices can’t have their cellular antennas enabled during the flight, either. That part’s nothing new, though.
It’s just nice to see this silly restriction go away.
