iFitit has already posted its iPad Air teardown. It’s pretty much a standard teardown.
Overall, it doesn’t have a high repairability score, but what Apple device does? They are usually pretty difficult to take apart. They do say that the LCD is easy to remove once you remove the front panel. Another plus is that the battery isn’t soldered to the logic board. However, it did warp when they tried to remove it, and that’s not a good thing for batteries as it can puncture and become a hazard.
