According to David Hsieh at NPD DisplaySearch, it seems that Apple will release the rumored iWatch in two display sizes: 1.7-inch and 1.3-inch. If the rumor is accurate, the larger size is for men and the smaller size is for women.
A portion of the report reads as such:
Apple’s wearable iWatch is expected to come with a 1.7-inch OLED display for men’s watches and a 1.3-inch OLED screen for women, David Hsieh, DisplaySearch’s Vice President of the Greater China Market, said at a conference today in Taiwan, citing Apple sources.
However, part of the report seems suspect as it says that Apple could launch the device as early as this year. They must have forgotten that we are a month-and-a-half away from the end of the year, and probably less than a few weeks from the most critical shopping/product release period.
That said, what about guys with thin wrists like me? Just a thought.
