Apple CEO Tim Cook recently wrote a piece for the Wall Street Journal (subscription required) asking members of congress to support the Employment Nondiscrimination Act.

While you will need an account to read the full article, the basic idea of what Tim Cook says is that Apple is welcoming to everyone, regardless of ethnicity, race, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation. He strongly believes that this leads employees to be comfortable in the workplace, and through that become comfortable enough to be the best employees they can be.
