The Kindle Fire really seems like the only tablet that’s done well competing with the iPad. Amazon even debuted a commercial for the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 that compares it to the iPad.
Sure, it’s a bit harsh, but at least they bring up good points. Unlike the ad for Micrsoft’s Surface tablet.
Take it for what it is. It’s one rival talking down to another rival. It’s marketing. At least, like Apple, Amazon has a solid place to buy books and apps from.
