Finnish Linguists Correct Apple’s Spelling of ‘iPhone’

iPhone 5S

According to the Institute for the Languages of Finland, Apple has been spelling iPhone wrong all along. We figure this is true of iPad and iPod, too.

The correct spelling? According to them is “Iphone” or “I-phone.” That hyphen looks ugly, by the way. Either way, this probably won’t matter much. Even the folks behind the “correction” admit that this probably won’t work out the way they believe is correct, and that Apple’s spelling will become the standard.

Oh well, can’t fault them for trying.
