The reports of a larger iPad continue. Of course they come from DigiTimes, so it’s difficult to say how accurate the report is. We just like to remember that even some reputable news sources have mentioned that Apple is testing out larger tablets (which doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to become a retail product.)
If true, the larger iPad will be a 12.9-inch tablet. A bit harder to believe, however, is that Apple may be considering replacing the 11-inch MacBook Air with the larger-sized iPad. Let’s hope not. It’s my favorite laptop.
If true, we can expect the larger iPad sometime around October 2014.
Another rumor says that we may expect to see a larger iPhone. That rumor points to a May 2014 release date (which already gives us much reason to be doubtful.)
For now, we can’t say for sure. Still, Apple is always testing larger iPads and iPhones. Testing is one thing, announcing and releasing is another.
