If you use Spotify, you may soon notice a new look for the desktop application. It’s being updated with a new, cleaner UI.
According to website The Verge, which got to play with the new version, it loses the grey and becomes much darker, almost black in some places. The UI also has larger text and an overall cleaner look.
Luckily, they report that there is “no massive interface change, just a fresh coat of paint.” Which is good news, because it’s not fun having to sort of relearn where everything is.
We haven’t seen it on our own desktop yet, but it seems that it’s being rolled out slowly. Perhaps it will come along to the rest of us in the next few days.
