According to data from Chitika analytics, iOS devices such as the iPad and iPhone make up a majority of post-holiday mobile web traffic.
This is definitely an indication of how well Apple’s devices did over the gift-giving season.
Both the iPhone and the iPad are on the rise. In the tablet market, Apple takes up most of the share. Amazon’s Kindle tablets are second in place, but far behind. Still, they are up while the iPad showed a slight decline.
It’s all interesting data, and we do wonder how much web traffic is affected (if at all) by apps. For instance, does someone using the Facebook app or a Twitter App affect the perception of webshare? Either way, worth a read.
