Brand Finance’s Global 500 Study has named Apple the most valuable company for the third year in a row above Samsung, Google, Microsoft and several others.
The list includes other brans such as Amazon, Walmart, Toyota and Coca-Cola. However, the study notes that Apple is especially great in “its ability to monetize [its] brand,” according to David Haigh, CEO of Brand Finance.
He uses tablets as an example. They existed before the iPad, but it wasn’t until Apple introduced its own tablet that they became a popular item.
