Apple today launched (in European territories) the iPhone 5C 8GB. It also reintroduced the iPad 4 16GB, which replaced the iPad 2 as the budget iPad.
Now, all of Apple’s iOS devices ship with a Lightning connector, which seems to be what the folks at Cupertino wanted. The 8GB iPhone 5C is just another way to bring a lower-cost iPhone into the market.
It’s a good way for Apple to sell handsets and tablets to users who are looking for a more budget-friendly version of Apple’s popular devices.
