The concern is that a ton of data is being sent to carriers informing them of what users are doing, where they are, etc. It's said that these things are even recording keystrokes. -

Pulse App Coming to the Windows Phone
Posted on 09/27/2011The Pulse app service has been present on the iOS and Android, and is now making its way over to the Windows Phone. What Pulse attempts to do is to sync up to different news websites that you want to follow and have them feed into the App, creating tiles that allows you to see images of what is top of the list at those sites. -
Microsoft Now Asking Windows Phone Developers to Switch to Version 7.5
Posted on 09/21/2011Now that both Russia and Japan are seeing different Windows Phone 7.5 models unroll in their markets, Microsoft wants developers to now focus on brining in apps developed for version 7.5 Mango as well as update the apps that were for version 7.0 so they will be up to date with this new system. The problem originally came with the division between the two versions where users on 7.0 would not be targeted by the newer apps and they would have to then bring in the Windows Phone Mango update to keep their apps fresh, essentially meaning that there would be two versions of the app at the Windows Phone Marketplace. -
iPhone Beats Out the Android in Usability Tests
Posted on 08/09/2011 | 1 CommentIn a new study, Harvard’s Human Factors in Design lab looked at the usability of different smart phones to see what ones favored best, and both Apple’s iPhone and Microsoft’s Windows phone beat out Android and the Blackberry in ease of use. This does not, however, put the iPhone on top as the Windows phone favored best in the trials. -
